Florence Business Club
Today’s students are tomorrow’s corporate leaders. Club activities facilitate students to harvest their inherent talents. As Swami Vivekananda says “Education is manifestation of perfection already in man”. Club activities are driven by students with close coordination of the faculty representative. Every year new office bearers are selected and given charge of the clubs through an investiture ceremony at the beginning of the semester. In addition to club activities the B-School involves the students as active partners in its various activities such as National and International conference, Training the trainers, Knowledge series, seminars and ensures that the students play an active role. Following clubs are currently functioning at the institute.
The HR Club makes Human Resources from being merely a support function to strategic function. The club emphasizes on people development and creating synergy between industry and academia.

Finance Club
The Finance club helps in facilitating more interaction with industry practitioners and experts. Inviting Professionals in the field of financial management and also monitoring the stock exchange is the club’s core activity.
The Marketing club is a very versatile club that teaches students the art of “marketing.” Through dynamic fortnightly quiz programs, students get to know about branding, labeling, trademarks and all other industry relevant marketing techniques.

Book Review Club
This club emphasizes on every student reading a general management book, which is later reviewed via a debate. The debates are moderated by a faculty member with valuable inputs.
The Quiz club looks at new and current dimensions of management theories. Articles from the latest newspapers and magazines are discussed to monitor what the students are reading. Thus, new jargons and new management theories are discussed.

Entrepreneurial Club
The Entrepreneurial club presents several activities each year to share ideas and explore the world of business ownership. The goal of this club is the make students better informed about entrepreneurship as a career option. Activities like panel discussions on relevant topics and experience sharing sessions by multiple entrepreneurs form the back bone of this club. This aims at helping students learn the nuances and trajectories of what the entrepreneurs have gone through. This club runs a plethora of programs in partnership with the NEN.
National and international academic tours are organized to expose students to the multiple facets of the corporate world. Visits to Universities and industries in different countries provide a global perspective to their thoughts and action.

Good and timely advice can go a long way in helping a student make appropriate decisions that will carry him through his life and career. As an added feature, an experienced psychological counselor on scheduled hours, everyday gives counseling to students on academic, personal and health related issues. In addition to this, teachers have mentoring sessions with assigned students to monitor the overall development
